Hi there! I am so excited you are checking out my Website and Blog! I’ve been trying to think of what to share “About Me” and it really made me ponder, who am I? What makes me, me?
What makes me, me? Here are some of the things I believe are significant that make up who I am. First and foremost I am a Christian and my Faith in Jesus Christ is the very core of my DNA. I know I would never have gotten through all I have gone through without Him.
I am also a wife to a great husband who, through his own journey of healing, has inspired me daily. Has life been perfect? Nope, but we are on this journey together and I am so thankful for him! I am also a mom to two amazing boys who have overcome so much.
Overcomers. That’s how I’d describe me and my crazy, wild, imperfectly beautiful family. I don’t think I’d change a thing! I am also an aspiring Blogger, Worship Singer, Teacher, Mediator, Referee, Photographer, First Aid Person, Lover of Animals (we practically have a zoo in our little home), Artist, the list could go on and on haha! That’s basically me in a very brief nutshell.
Life has been quite a journey for me. From everything I have gone through, to walking through different stages of healing, to being able to finally share my story.
Am I nervous? Oh yes! Totally! But if by sharing my story I can help even one person find healing and hope and point them in the direction of Jesus then it has been worth it! I look forward to sharing my heart and my journey with you all!
I will leave you with verses from Psalm 63 NKJV that have meant a lot to me:
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your loving kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice (and sing).
Be Blessed!
